Laura Friedmann October 4, 2017 Laura Friedmann October 4, 2017 In my career, I’ve attempted to have a professional expression of Baha’u’llah’s Revelation as best as I could. In my field, which is health care, I’ve lead initiatives in large companies to develop technologies for rural areas in Africa and Asia and the express purpose — what I articulated to the leadership of these companies — was the moral imperative — these are our brothers and sisters — and the business case was secondary. And what I found moving was that it touched those souls of people who are supposedly hard-nosed people in power, executives. They were moved, touched and inspired by it and they wanted to see it manifested despite all the restraints of the corporate world. Without question, Baha’u’llah’s Revelation has guided my life and opened up opportunities for me in my professional career so now I’m trying to explore, at this point in my life, how do I understand what my contribution is.
