Ever since I was young my parents were super involved in the core activities so I was raised going to children’s class, and junior youth group — it’s funny, the junior youth group was me, my brother and my sister and our mother was our animator. So our whole experience was the way the core activities influence community life. And when I moved to a more populated area I felt like that was part of who I was, part of what I wanted to do with my time, and so getting involved in the activities was super cool and just to see, from when I moved here till now, how communities have changed and how it’s not just from one day to another, but over time the whole foundations of these communities have changed. And to know that I was able to just be a part of it and experience that has been really, really cool.
